Believe and speak

11 The word of the Lord came to me, saying, what do you see, Jeremiah? And I said I see an almond stick.  12 And the Lord said to me, you have seen well; because I hasten my word to carry it out.

Jeremiah 1: 11-12

As a church, we have had many arguments regarding what the declaration of the word is. When I say declare, I mean when we use the term to establish something written in the bible, about our lives. While it is true that there is nothing wrong with declaring and that it certainly must be a practice in the life of a child of God, all declaration must be aligned with the plans and will of God and not with our whim or whim.

The word of God tells us that his plans for us are plans for good and not for evil, therefore, it is our responsibility to search for the truths of the word and take them for us without hesitation. For example, his word says that because of his sores we were cured, it does not say that we will be, so that lets me clearly see that I am already healthy. But, within my life, can I see myself healthy? And so, it is with hundreds of other truths that were established in the bible for us. They are in the bible, we have known them, but how about believing them as a firm truth?

The apostle Paul gives us the following prayer in 2 Corinthians 4:13: “But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written: I believed; therefore, I spoke, we also believe, therefore we also speak.” It begins by talking to us about faith, which is what connects us with the eternal and takes us out of this human and earthly dimension. Then it talks about what is written, and what is written is nothing more than the language of the truth of God who gave us access to us as his children. And then he adds the word “I believed”, he believed the word he had received from God, and then he says – for which I spoke – that implies a statement with his mouth. And he’s making an invitation for us to do the same.

The Lord said to Habakkuk: Write the vision and DECLARE it on tablets so that he who reads it may run. Habakkuk 2: 2. When you believe it, you see it and if you see it in your spirit, you will declare it and His word says that if we see it, He hastens His word to be put into action. 11 The word of the Lord came to me, saying, what do you see, Jeremiah? And I said I see an almond stick.  12 And the Lord said to me, you have seen well; because I hasten [b] my word to carry it out. Jeremiah 1: 11-12

Let’s stop contending for issues that are clear in the word. God made us in his image and seated us at his right hand to rule the earth together with him. And, like him, he gave us power in our words, the words that are aligned with his TRUTH. If you believe it, declare it all the time. Everything where you apply the language of faith, which only comes from the Spirit, is going to materialize. I know this is a very deep subject, but when you begin to align with the Spirit and let him direct you, you will see how each statement is directed by him so that it begins to be effective in our lives. Let us long for more of him, everything is telling us that he wants to lead us to his fullness and his truth. Do you want that experience in your life? Then begin to see and declare his truth; it is for the children.
