Full of experiences

The supernatural is something that, in one way or another, we all want to experience. In the ministrations in our services, when we are invited by the speaker of a message to go to the altar and receive a direct word for us, the laying on of hands and letting go to rest in the arms of the Lord and receive an experience in our spirit, the visions, dreams, among some other experiences that we could mention, are things that we want to happen.

I have met people who receive continuous experiences in their spirit, almost in every cult, but in their daily life, I do not see that these experiences cause any change.

With or without experiences, the word invites us to be transformed. When we meet Jesus and He begins to reveal Himself to our life, our lives should be transformed. I know people carrying the same health situation, repeating the same cycles, experiencing the same depressions, facing the same financial situations, year after year after year. So I ask myself: What is the word achieving in you? What good are so many experiences, falling to the ground, crying, feeling fire, speaking in tongues, having visions? Are they to be accumulated and remembered as one more?

Certainly, God wants us to have them, we are spiritual beings with a human experience, so they must be normal for us. But if the natural and the human in us is so heavy that it does not allow us to be transformed into the image of the Word (Jesus Himself is the word), we should scrutinize and evaluate our lives.

Let’s have all the experiences, let’s enjoy them, but let’s not forget that being transformed through each one of them and the word that has been deposited in our hearts, is important so that the kingdom of God is manifested throughout our lives. Experiences with the Spirit are for us, but our lives being transformed are the outward expression of how much we are growing and manifesting to the world the God of power that we feel in each of those experiences. Blessings.
