I live on a second floor in a house that is usually very cool because of the location where it is. In these days I was at home doing some household chores and at the moment I feel very hot, which is not normal in my house. I go to the living room and remember that, in a rainy moment, I had closed them and forgot to open them again. Obviously when you opened them, the cool breeze felt again and the heat passed. I was able to continue doing what I was doing more comfortably with the cool thing that began to enter through my window.
It also happens with our lives. We all need a connection with God. It doesn’t matter if you believe it or not, you need God and a communication and connection with Him. But many times we close the window that connects us with Him and allows Him to enter. How many rains have come that made you close the window and try to keep working, even with heat inside you? We are designed to have and maintain a relationship with God. When we refuse to have it, we don’t realize that we only exist, but we don’t live. The open window, to have a connection with God, is what will allow a fresh breeze of his presence to sustain you to fulfill the tasks of life. Do not choose to live suffocated, let the cool breeze of your presence caress you and refresh you inside. Don’t keep thinking you can do it alone. I have to tell you that life begins, only when He arrives. Without Him you might be surviving, you feel that you are functioning, everything seems to be fine. But be honest with yourself and go and look for the areas of dissatisfaction, anxiety, worry, lack of peace, frustration, discouragement, wear, loneliness, indecision, doubts, voices that you don’t understand and that you try to put out, but you cannot, of tiredness by trying to do it with your own strength, of unanswered questions, of loneliness and emptiness, of behaviors you try and cannot release and many other things. Even if you are a Christian, there may be a closed window and you have lost connection with your Father today. Today I invite you to open the window. Let its breeze and light enter each and every dimension of your life and everything will start differently, you’ll see. Start this week by opening the window, invite it and let it in. Blessings.
