Rest in His grace

1

The history of humanity is marked in two eras: before Christ and after Christ. The era before Christ is made up of the years from creation to the birth of Christ. The era after Christ, is marked by the birth of the same onwards. After the birth of Christ, the history of humanity changed and humanity has never been the same from there to here.

In the same way it happens in our life. Our lives must be marked in the same way, before Christ entered our lives and after entering our lives. When we study the word, we can understand that when we speak of the time after Christ in humanity, we call it the time of grace. Grace is not just another message or a teaching in the word, the grace is Jesus, Jesus is the grace. And Jesus as grace, came to bring rest and relief to our lives. Jesus was God’s master plan for humanity. Jesus did what was for me, paid my debt, overcame and defeated everything that was against me and could defeat me. That is why I can rest in Him.

When Jesus, that is grace, enters our lives, we must understand that our life becomes hidden in Him. Colossians 3: 1-3 says: If, then, you have risen with Christ, seek the things above where Christ he is seated at the right hand of God. Set your sights on things above, not on things on earth. Because you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. His plan and his longing cover everything. That is why, if my life is hidden in Christ, who is seen is He and not me. He wants to see himself working in everything, because He already did everything. We must learn to enter into his rest. Rest where I give up control, where I can understand that, if He is the owner of my life, He takes care of everything. Where you can understand that He is aware of everything that happens on it, that nothing surprises him or catches him off guard.

It is time to start letting go of God in every area of your life. Rest thinking that He takes care of everything in your life. Anxiety and zeal do not produce anything good and do not allow you to enjoy His grace and what He has already done. Create and appropriate everything that has already been achieved for you. Do not let the grace of God become null in your life. Before each situation that may arise, let go and rest. Everything that happens is used for our growth and maturity, no matter how difficult the situation may seem. God loves those around you more than you love them (parents, children, brothers, partner), even, He loves you more than you can love yourself. You can believe it?

So, enter his rest, trust and release control of everything and assured that you will see in each experience the result that God wants to achieve through it. May the grace of God be upon you.
