Soulish or spiritual

If something has been working very markedly the Spirit for this time, it is to affirm the identity of the sons and daughters of God. And one of the characteristics of the sons and daughters who are maturing and growing for this time, is that they have learned where to connect their senses. The word says that we live in this world but we are not of this world. We are ambassadors of the kingdom of God on this earth. And although, we are continually invaded by the news and the realities of this world, the news to which we really must be connected and by which we must rule our lives, is the news of the Kingdom of heaven. Today, you need to be clear about your reality of life.

As I have mentioned on previous occasions, we are tripartite beings, that is: spirit, soul and body. But when we analyze the word (Bible), where it says that we were formed from the dust of the earth and we understand that the word dust implies such an insignificant layer of the earth, it makes us think that what we have of earth is so little when we compare it with the spiritual that lives in us. I don’t know how much we have internalized the reality that eternity lives in us: Ecclesiastes 3:11 – However, God made everything beautiful for the appropriate time. He planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, human beings cannot comprehend the full scope of what God has done from beginning to end. The invasion on our human senses is clear, direct and continuous. But, how much do we manage to connect with our spiritual senses?

I want to share with you in the word that I have been meditating these days: Your eye is a lamp that gives light to your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is full of light; But when your eye is sick, your body is full of darkness (Luke 11:34). Our senses are like the “input” in technological systems. It is through them that we feed our inner being and, it is according to what we are feeding, that we are going to act. We cannot pretend to feed the human soul and senses and act in a spiritual way, because, unfortunately, the soul is dulling our spirit.

There is an answer that I usually use, it is very personal, but I share it with you: “I’m not crazy, it’s that my reality is different from yours.” In order to live according to a life in the spirit, we NECESSARILY have to connect with Him and disconnect from the “input” of this world. The invasion is going to be, as I told you: clear, direct and continuous. Therefore, it is necessary to decide what your reality is.

What you feed into your being is what will predominate and take control. Our senses – sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch – are continually being invaded and fueled by the news and effects of this world. Disconnecting ourselves from this “reality” to connect to the reality of the Spirit is a decision that we must make with determination and firmness. To stop seeing what the world sees, to begin to focus on what God sees, requires you to connect with your spiritual reality and the frequency of eternity.

You have to choose the source from which you want to be fed. What is your source? Where are you feeding your being? Do you connect with prayer? Do you connect with praise and worship moments? Do you connect with your leaders or mentors? Do you connect with the word of God to receive the news of eternity?

Think again, what is your reality? Choosing your reality will help you determine your focus and what you want to nurture to be empowered. If you fail to tune with the frequency of eternity, the soul will take over and dominate over your spiritual reality.

You have to start seeing yourself as what you were created to be, a spiritual being with a human experience, yet created to maintain the relationship and connection with your Creator. If your senses are tuned to your spirit, prepare to start living the supernatural. Understand today that everything is put into your being, but you choose what will predominate.

Choose today to connect with your Creator, with the frequency of eternity, with the plans and the original design. That is what you were created for. The soul will only keep you a slave to this world and its desires that will eventually pass, leaving your life empty, meaningless and dissatisfied. We are in the best of times, the Spirit is calling, and he who has ears, hear what the Spirit is speaking for his sons and daughters today. God’s grace and peace over your life today.
