What do you think he would have done?

A few years ago (in my teens) I read a book titled: What would Jesus do? In Spanish: ¿Cómo lo haría Jesús? And it has definitely been a question that has confronted my life on many occasions. In moments like the one we are living, that question invades me again: What would Jesus have done in a situation like the one we are facing? Would he has joined the #quedateentucasa advertising? Would he has shared great ideas of what to do while we are all saved, “preventing” a contagion? Would he has given his preaching “on line” to show caution and prevention, as a good wise man? Have you ever think of what He would have done?

Honestly, I can’t imagine doing any of the above. I imagine a Jesus showing a manifestation of power everywhere, I imagine the masses of sick and worried people looking for him to receive a miracle of healing or freedom, imagining a Jesus moving freely because: what can harm Jesus? Would He be worried about getting it?

Well, I want to tell you that 1 John 4:17 says: “As he is, so are we in this world.” I don’t know if you can understand the same as me, but I understand that his word tells me that I am like Jesus. It means that I must emulate Jesus in everything I do. The church of Acts would not have been hidden, possibly it would not have promoted the #quedateencasa campaign, but instead it would have been doing what Mark 16:17 says: “And these signs will follow those who believe: In my name they will cast out got damn; they will speak new languages; they will take serpents in their hands, and if they drink something deadly, it will not harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will be healed.

Tell me if this is not power, authority, government, dominance. The earth is still waiting for the manifestation of the children of God. Put your ear to the news from heaven, they are different from those heard on earth. If you are a child, begin to see yourself as God sees you and begin to see what God sees. God sees children with kingdom identity, full of his power, his authority, fulfilling his assignment on this earth. That was what He conquered for you on the cross. Fill yourself with Him and empower yourself with his finished work, that’s why he said: “It is finished”, his finished work is ours. Blessings.
