With the same joy.

In the midst of the prophetic time that we are in, it is impossible not to hear God’s call on children. Some time ago I heard the Lord tell me the word: “unstoppable.” Now I understand that what God has in his agenda and in his purposes, nothing and nobody is going to stop him.

A portion of the word comes to mind in Luke 9: 57-62: 57 They were on the road when someone said to him, “I will follow you wherever you go.” 58 Jesus answered him, “Foxes have burrows and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.” 59 He said to another, “Follow me.” “Sir,” he replied, “first let me go and bury my father.” 60 “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God,” Jesus replied. 61 Another affirmed: —I will follow you, Lord; but first let me say goodbye to my family.62 Jesus replied, “No one who looks back after putting his hand to the plow is fit for the kingdom of God.

Jesus came to earth with a certain purpose, the same one that he had from the beginning of creation, to establish his kingdom on earth. And his perfect plan includes man. God has always wanted man to see himself as the ambassador of his kingdom here on earth. And God gave man the privilege of providing everything, created the earth and all its resources and made them available to us. He allowed us to make a family, to have a profession, among many other things, but before that, he predestined us and called us from eternity. Jesus made the invitation: Follow me, and each one of us, like these men in the biblical story, made an excuse for him.

But today Jesus is raising up a generation of the brave who want to follow him, those who are hearing the clear voice of his call. Those who are willing to leave everything behind because they know that the call is greater and does not wait. God’s plans are not going to stop, it is our privilege to be used in his purpose. For every pretext of those men, Jesus had an answer. His schedule is running, moving forward. And today Jesus is saying to you: it is not time to look for your accommodation and your plans, take mine and follow me, in what you cannot change, do not continue to wear out, follow me and establish my kingdom, you have already given much time to what I gave you to enjoy, it is the time for my kingdom and my purposes.

Jesus did not make excuses for his father, even on the way to the cross, he did not look at his circumstances, but with the joy put before him, he suffered the cross. You may think: What joy can such suffering have? For the joy of knowing that he had fulfilled his Father’s will and had accomplished the work that was entrusted to him. That today you can have the same feeling that there was in Christ Jesus, who found nothing to hold on to that would stop him from fulfilling his assignment. May the joy of following him and fulfilling his purpose also suffice for you. Blessings.
