It lies to you

The most powerful thing we carry is our mind. It has the ability to build who we are. With it we remember, everything that keeps the magnificent and enormous file that we have, in the same way we imagine and we arrive to any place with our thought, which has no limits. We were confronted in a glorious teaching, by the father of the house where I congregate, (Iglesia Aún Hay Más, Sin Fronteras) with the reality that we choose to live more in the archive of our mind than using the imagination.

The archive of our mind keeps an accumulation of stories that have been the ones that have defined us, what we are today is made up of what we have saved in that archive. You may know this information, I had also heard a lot about this topic. But, this is where I want to stop to reflect: Have you ever pondered how much your file lies to you? You may tell me a great truth: All that is there are the experiences, the memories, the education, everything learned for years of life, the experience is not a lie, it is a truth”.  Definitely, that is not something we are going to refute. What I want you to analyze today is: How much those experiences and memories that are stored there, have limited and ruined the new, what you could achieve if you used more imagination than what you travel to your memory archive? How many dreams have died? How many good projects are broken? How many plans have disappeared from your mind without reaching an opportunity to be contemplated? How many dreams of God deposited in you have been forgotten?

I don’t ask you these questions because I never had to confront any of them. I have seen myself running to the file of deception and have imploded my own ideas and dreams. Yes, to the file of deception, to the one who yells at me: Don’t try it, don’t even think about it, how do you think you are going to do it? Did you forget when this or that happened? (a memory of the past), the one that leads me to see the impossibilities and the scarcity of resources, the one that leads me to see myself small before such a great idea, which makes me look at myself, instead of looking at God as an approach to reach that goal.

I know it happened to you too. But it is no accident that you are reading this today. Today God brought you here to give life to those dreams and plans dead and forgotten, to that ministry of which you do not feel able to achieve, to that idea that has run in your mind, accompanied by thoughts that undermine and return it to the drawer again. If today I am writing here, it was not because someone believed in me (I do not mean that someone did not do it), but if I am doing this today, it is because I overcame many thoughts that made me go back, and decided to believe, first God already that He himself put the gift and the idea in me to be able to do it. Dreams are the language of the Spirit, so you have to believe that if there is a dream in you, it is because the Spirit is trying to push you into something. If it is great, it is because it is from God and if He put it there, He will answer for that dream in ways that you cannot imagine today. In the end, it’s not about you, it’s about Him, because if you take the glory with the achievement, where would the greatness of God be?

Stop running to the deception file and let the imagination fly high. There are some words that could help you understand the ways in which God is working for this time: surprising, unusual, supernatural, unimaginable, unstoppable, impossible, suddenly, unheard of, unexpected, and innovative, among some others. In which of them can you operate or move without relying on Him? That is why He is looking for you to stop running to the deception file and run to the imagination. Imagination, together with faith, will lead you to see the greatness of God. Do not let the file of deception continue to stop the dream of God in your life, what he deposited in you, is only yours, let it take life, and God will surprise you. Blessings.
