What are you going to write?

We are all welcoming, not only to a new year, but also to a new decade. And like every year maybe, we start with a lot of push. Many resolutions, many promises, many ideas, goals and dreams. The reality is that we have the good intention and the best desire to achieve each of those things. And as on previous occasions, some of them may be achieved others will remain only in the desire of our heart.

We are certainly referring to the human plane. But how about your spiritual plane? To some extent we all have an awareness that we are spiritual beings. But in day-to-day practice, how spiritual can you really see yourself? And I don’t mean the way of “spiritual being” that we regularly think. Seeing us as that person who attends a church, has a time of prayer, does his reading or study of the word, regularly has a devotional time and things similar to the aforementioned. I mean how much are you really aware that you are not body, soul and spirit but vice versa, spirit, soul and body? How much can you really see that everything you do is spiritual, not because you pray, read the word or go to church, but because you are a spirit whom God put on earth, inside a shell called body, and allowed you to have a human experience? How much do you understand or know that the supernatural must be natural in you and not an experience from time to time? That the mind of Christ should be the one that predominates above everything else? That every word you say affects your whole life because God put the power of life and death in your mouth? That the eternity lives in you and is not an experience that you should be waiting for one day to come? That you are a door to manifest the kingdom of God on this earth now?

Those among many other things that we are not aware of, that we have overlooked for so long and that seem not to be important because we have become accustomed to the system of the church and of this world. Without really questioning whether we live as Jesus wants us to live. Is any spiritual plan or goal really on our agenda? Can I see myself as a purpose of God on this earth? Are my own plans or God’s plans on my agenda?

I don’t know about you, but in some way or another each of those questions has confronted my life and I wouldn’t want to ignore them. One day I dared to say to God: “I change my dreams for yours” and I know that He took it seriously. I don’t know how much you dare to say the same. We must be willing to live the experience of Paul when he said: “I do not live, Christ lives in me.” I have not had losses since I said that to the Lord. That’s why I invite you to ask him what his dreams are with you. He will let you meet them. What you need to think is, how willing you are to let go of yours and take his. I encourage you to be his plans and not yours for this year. Remember that things that the eye did not see or hear heard or have risen to the heart of man, are what God has for those who love him. Dare to manifest the eternal and release the schemes of the man who had the church detained. It is the time of the eternal, of God’s plans and not more of ours. Blessings.
