Go and wake him up.

There is a portion of the word that I really like, it is in Mark 4: 35 to 41. It is the narration where Jesus invites disciples to move to the other side and they go in a boat. Suddenly, a great storm arises to the point of almost sinking the boat, the disciples were desperate feeling that they were going to die. And right there, in the back of the boat, Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went to wake him up and said something like: Master, don’t you care if we die? Jesus got up, said to the sea: “Be quiet, be silent,” and everything stopped. Then he addresses his disciples, asking them: Why are you scared? Still have no faith?

When Jesus spoke to them about going to the other side, Jesus knew that He was going towards Gadara, the place where Jesus freed two demonized men and the demons were sent to a herd of pigs. Freeing those men was important, because this freedom was not limited only to these men, there was a whole story behind this freedom. Behind this freedom was a greater purpose, it was the freedom of many through this act.

Where do I want to take you today? Jesus has been inviting us to move to the other side in our lives. Next to where the supernatural, the unusual, the inexplicable of Him is. Like the disciples, we have seen the power of God and we know that there is a clear invitation, there is a world that needs us. But this time you and I are called to free him. Today you and I are the boat that Jesus is in, we just have to wake up to the Christ that is in us. In the boat, when Jesus woke up and calmed the storm, he asked the disciples: Why are they scared? Still have no faith? And today he is asking us the same thing in the midst of what we live.

If you are scared today, if you still cannot believe in the glorious manifestation for which the earth is waiting to see the children of God, you have to go to awaken the Christ, the one who lives within you. Jesus said that greater things than He did, we will do. If the word teaches us that just as Jesus was on earth we are, then what we have to position is our identity. Recognizing our identity in Christ will lead us to manifest the resurrection power that Jesus left us. Jesus’ work was complete, nothing was missing. The only thing missing is that you and I appropriate it and begin to manifest its greatness, its glory. We are the door through which heaven on earth must manifest.

Don’t be afraid anymore, don’t hesitate anymore. Wake up to the Christ that is in you and begin to manifest his greatness. The earth is waiting for the manifestation of the children of God, of what they are listening to what the Spirit is saying about their children today. Come on, wake up the Christ. Blessings .
