Holy quarentine

We are at the beginning of what we traditionally known as “Easter”, and what a way to celebrate it. Certainly, if a few months ago I had been told that this was going to happen, I would not have believed it. We all used to expect beautiful church programs, which were usually filled regardless of denomination. But this time, we will all be in our homes and possibly the services of the celebration will be “online”, as we never thought. There will be no processions or long dramas, nor long preaching of the crucifixion and resurrection, among some others that were part of the events.

This makes me think about, how many things we have always had that we have not valued, how many things and places we have underestimated, and today we would like to have the opportunity to be there, move freely and with the people we miss. When we return back out there, and all of this is left behind us, the world will not be the same place we left when all this began. The lives of many will have changed due to all the circumstances that are taking place around us, it is no wonder. Perhaps, today we are looking at everything that we may be losing in this situation, but although today you cannot see it, there are many others that are being earned, that although they do not seem of much value, tomorrow you will see that they are. Every difficult time speaks of new opportunities, of new doors that will open, of new paths to start, of new projects, of changes in the agenda, of different priorities. What seemed to be of great importance or value yesterday, very possibly will no longer have it tomorrow, what seemed so urgent or of such priority, will surely take another position in the plans. What you did not value yesterday will become a great value. In short, it will be a time of many changes and new demands.

So, since traditionally, this is a week of reflection, introspection and deep analysis, I invite you to reflect on, how many opportunities can you contemplate for your life? How many values were left behind and today do you understand that they must be taken up again? How many things that you took for granted, today have you seen them stagger? How many priorities need to be changed today? And finally, because I can’t close without questioning: How much have you left God out of your life and your plans and now you understand that today you need to put Him in front of them? How much your life has been away from Him and today you realize that you need Him as you would never have imagined?

This Easter will not be the same, do not let it be in any way. It is time for changes, life is changing and it will not wait for anyone to be ready, as it did not ask us before for all the demands it have brought. It is we who must be ready. Focus and make this time valuable. Draw close to God, because He draws near to those who draw near to Him. Blessings.

I’ve had a tough time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out there.

I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted
just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips?
    Cheers!
