Come in and everything works out…

Under the call to “stay home” we have all met during this time. It seems that everything will be solved by entering the house and staying there. Whether or not this is true, we have certainly all had to stay home. Each person’s circumstances are unique and different. Certainly, there are those who do not have the need to go out regularly, because their situation is less complex and their exits may be limited, while the circumstances of others are different and they have some needs for which they need to go out more. The reality is that entering our homes and staying “safe” there may help the situation, but it will not eliminate it. And each one must have conscience and wisdom of how to handle their particular situation. But, although we know that this is not the solution at all, we must be responsible with the call as a society.

Meditating on this, a verse of the word, said by Jesus comes to my mind: Foxes have dens, and birds of the sky nests; but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head (Matthew 8:20). And maybe you can ask me, what does that verse have to do with what you started talking about? I will tell you what I see. Today we have all had a place to go to be safe, kept at home, the foxes and birds that Jesus spoke of, they also had a place to enter, but He had not found a place to enter and lay his head. And still today he is looking for a place to enter. Jesus is the head, looking for a body to rest. His word tells me that you and I are the body of Christ. We were the reason for his passion to complete his perfect work on the cross. The work that gave us identity and today makes us that body in which He wants to rest.

Today Jesus is looking for you to let him into your life, your space, your family, your plans, your work, your time, your concerns and doubts, your mistakes, your pain, your tiredness, to your weaknesses, to your dissatisfaction, to your illness, to your frustrations, to your burdens, to everything with which you feel that you can no longer take it and need to let go. You must understand that when he enters, the situation has to change, nothing remains the same, because Jesus has the ability to change everything, no matter what the circumstances are. The only one who, when He enters, is capable of transforming everything, is Him. Let there be no doubt.

You and I may not be able to fully resolve the situation around us today by going in and staying home. But if Jesus comes in and you let him lay his head on you, everything will change. That’s for sure.

I am not going to ask you to leave the house, I am going to ask you to invite Jesus to come with you there. If He enters, no matter what is happening outside, inside of you, nothing will be the same, everything will take on another meaning and your circumstances, whatever they may be, will change. Don’t think about it, open the door and let him in. Blessings.

  1. A fascinating discussion is definitely worth comment.
I believe that you need to write more about this subject matter, it may not be a taboo subject but generally people don’t talk about such subjects.
    To the next! Many thanks!!
